Acclaimed pianist Christopher O’Riley to perform a night of Nick Drake & Claude Debussy

Acclaimed pianist and host of NPR’s From The Top, Christopher O’Riley has redefined the possibilities of classical music with his intriguing transcriptions of alternative rock music. On Friday, April 17, 2009, he returns to the Miller Theater at Columbia University to perform a night of Nick Drake & Claude Debussy, which will draw comparisons between Drake and the classical composer. O’Riley initially explored Drake’s music on the 2007 release, Second Grace, which you can learn more about by clicking HERE.
