Orchestra Baobab and Vieux Farka Touré schedule FREE concerts in NYC for end of June

Mark your calendars now for two FREE concerts by some of EverGreen's finest World musicians, taking place at the end of this month in New York City. Orchestra Baobab, the world-renowned Afro-Cuban group from Senegal, will be performing at Rockefeller Park (map) on June 25 at 7pm as part of the River To River Festival. The band is currently touring in support of their excellent new album Made In Dakar and will be playing songs spanning their 30+ year career. Three days later, on Saturday, June 28, Malian-born artist Vieux Farka Touré will perform at the SummerStage in Central Park (map). Known for his global perspective on blues music, Vieux will be headlining a full day's worth of performances, and is expected to take the stage at 4:30pm. These are two events that are not to be missed, so come celebrate summer with EverGreen.
