Evergreen at the 52nd GRAMMY Awards

Nominations for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards were announced tonight by The Recording Academy® and reflected an eclectic mix of the best and brightest over the past year in music, as determined by the voting members of The Academy.

Evergreen would like to congratulate its clients and their nominations. Barbara Orbison World Publishing earned nominations for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Female Performance for the Taylor Swift/Liz Rose collaboration You Belong With Me, as performed by Taylor Swift. Still Working For The Man earned a nomination in the category of Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for Cowgirls Don't Cry, written by Terry McBride and Clay Meyers, as performed by Brooks & Dunn with Reba Mcentire.

Evergreen also secured a nomination for Dr. John's performance of John Martyn's I Don't Wanna Know About Evil  in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media, by way of the soundtrack for HBO's critically-acclaimed vampire drama True Blood.

"Once again, the GRAMMY Awards process has yielded a well-rounded and diverse group of impressive nominees across multiple genres...the road to Music's Biggest Night and the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards in January is off to an exciting start."

The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on "GRAMMY Sunday," Jan. 31, 2010, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live in high definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
