Evergreen Copyrights and WIDEawake Death Row Entertainment LLC are pleased to announce that the Tupac Shakur master recordings from the Death Row catalog are ready to be licensed for film, television, games and other ancillary uses. Leading independent music publisher and administration company, EverGreen Copyrights, is now the exclusive, worldwide administration company of the legendary rap label Death Row Records and is also the licensing agent for the Tupac Shakur music recorded and released through Death Row Records which includes all master recordings from the multi-platinum albums, All Eyez On Me and Makaveli which have previously been unavailable for licensing because of the Death Row bankruptcy. Afeni Shakur shall continue to have sole approval over all uses concerning the recordings as well as other intellectual property of her late son, Tupac Shakur. Through her solely owned company, Amaru Entertainment, Inc., Ms. Shakur has structured strategic alliances with WIDEawake Death Row Entertainment LLC and Evergreen to capitalize on and maximize the worldwide exposure of Tupac’s music from the Death Row catalogue. In addition, and as part of the long-term arrangement with WIDEawake Death Row, EverGreen administers and handles synchronization licensing for all of the compositions and master recordings in the Death Row catalog, as well as the processing of all royalties in the catalog.
