Richard Perna, Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer, was formerly COO of Hamstein Music which he built into one of the largest independent publishers in the U.S. over a 17 year period. He is also the former Secretary/Treasurer of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS).

David Schulhof, Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer, was formerly VP of Motion Picture Music for Miramax and Dimension Films where he produced or executive-produced over 100 soundtracks.

Joel Katz, Co-Founder, non-executive Partner, serves as chairman of the entertainment practice at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and is one of the most respected music attorneys in the world. His clients include B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, George Strait and Alan Jackson.

John Lippman, EVP, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer was formerly Vice President and Principal of Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking, where he worked on the team that executed Lehman's founding investment in EverGreen.

Our team includes some of the best professionals in the industry, as well as some of the most passionate music lovers. Songwriter Services

Our services to songwriters fall into five main areas:

• Creative Marketing / A&R: Placing songs in film, television, corporate advertisements, video games, digital distribution; marketing songs to artists, producers and label execs.

• Songwriter Development: Talent development; arranging for co-writes and other promotional activities.

• Copyright Administration: Properly registering songs worldwide, tracking and collecting royalties, paying songwriters timely and accurately and auditing licensees.

• Licensing: Negotiating licensing fees and terms, executing paperwork and helping to obtain other required clearances.

• Advances / Acquisitions: Providing advances to songwriters, signing songwriters to exclusive agreements and acquiring songwriters back catalogs when advantageous for future marketing.

Catalog Acquisitions
